Job Overview  

The primary role of the VP of Business Development is to attain new business that is a qualified fit to OneSource’s current and future growth plans. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Achieves and exceeds revenue quota targets by winning new contracts and orders through prospecting and developing new customer relationships. 
  • Effectively identify and engage with decision makers at organizations that outsource BPO functions. 
  • Support creation of marketing material that accurately reflects company capabilities and value proposition that is engaging to prospects. 
  • Manage the sales process from through sales funnel from qualification to contract completion. 
  • Expands upon the goodwill and name recognition of the Company brand in the marketplace. 
  • Identifies and qualifies legitimate sales opportunities, providing a consultative and value-added approach to develop relationships. 
  • Negotiates contractual terms and conditions and works with the solutions/operations/implementation teams to ensure smooth handoffs. 
  • Builds a sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities. 
  • Maintains an ongoing relationship with prospective clients continuously assessing and communicating how can OneSource meet their needs. 
  • Develops and executes sales presentations to potential clients. 
  • Develops and implements sales plans and activities. Learns about and keeps up to speed on OneSource technologies, processes and value additions. 
  • Travels to OneSource and client sites as required. 
  • Adheres to all ethical and professional standards. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Evaluation of Performance 

The Vice President of Business Development will be evaluated regularly to ensure the position is contributing to the success of new business development.  Key performance indicator will be addition of annualized revenue with new clients. 

Reporting Structure  

  • Direct Manager: Chief Administration Officer 

Education/Experience 

  • 8+ years plus of direct sales experience in Contact Center, Technical Support and Help Desk Services, with recent exposure within a recognized call center and/or Business Process Outsourcing Services Company  
  • Proven track record of $3m+ in annualized new deals. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Able to create tables, use the spelling checker, grammar checker and thesaurus, create headers and footers and insert illustrations. 
  • Proficient in additional sales tools including Salesforce and Net-Results and any other sales tools used by OneSource. 
  • Ability to work interpersonally internally to manage site visits, presentations and any other interactions presenting OneSource to prospects. 
  • Excel at communicating information both orally and in writing. The VP makes initial contact with prospective clients and is the client's the first impression of our company, ability to represent the company with a high standard of professionalism in all aspects of communication.

  • Employment: Full-Time 
  • Location:  Work-from-home with travel as needed (up to 25%)
