Job Description:

Join Job Duck as a Legal Virtual Assistant and become an essential part of a modern, technology driven legal practice. In this role, you will help keep legal operations organized by managing communications, coordinating case related activities, and ensuring that important matters are handled efficiently. You will work in a highly innovative environment where AI tools are integrated into daily workflows, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leveraging technology while delivering outstanding client service. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and able to communicate clearly while balancing multiple priorities in a fast paced legal setting.

Monthly Compensation: 1,150 to 1,220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as a Case Manager for assigned matters

• Monitor automated workflows and ensure processes remain on track

• Maintain accurate case information and documentation

Coordinate communications with clients, negotiators, and third parties

• Utilize AI tools to support daily legal operations

Manage calendars and important deadlines

• Maintain an inventory of filed documents and case activity

• Manage and organize incoming emails

• Triage emails and prioritize action items

• Return client phone calls and provide case updates

• Identify and flag urgent legal matters

Respond to negotiators, vendors, and opposing counsel

Requirements:

• Florida based law firm.
• Working hours: 08:30 a.m. to 05:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Timezone: EST

Required Experience

• Practice areas include Debt Relief, Consumer Protection, Guardianship, and Probate and Estate Litigation.
• Legal training, background, or previous legal experience is required.
• Experience working with AI tools and technology driven workflows is highly preferred.

Software
• CRM: Custom CRM built with Airtable, Google Workspace, and Claude API
• VOIP: Quo – OpenPhone
• Other software: Google Workspace

• Strong legal knowledge or prior legal experience
