Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and proactive Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, strong active listening abilities, and confidence in handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. 

Although this is an intake position, it also has a consultative sales component. The successful candidate must be comfortable explaining paid consultations to prospective clients and guiding conversations to determine whether individuals are a good fit for the firm. 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

Monthly Compensation: 1,142 to 1,220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain detailed and accurate notes within the CRM. 
  • Determine whether prospective clients meet the firm's criteria before scheduling consultations.
  • Make outbound calls to: Confirm and remind clients about appointments, return client inquiries, communicate updates and information.
  • Screen prospective clients by asking thoughtful follow-up and qualifying questions.
  • Explain the firm's consultation process and associated fees confidently. 
  • Schedule appointments accurately.

Requirements:

  • Previous Receptionist, Client Services, Customer Service, or Administrative experience. 

  • Previous sales or consultative customer-facing experience is highly preferred. 

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. 

  • Strong active listening skills. 

  • Comfortable asking probing and qualifying questions. 

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. 

  • Able to multitask in a busy phone-based environment. 

  • Professional, personable, and empathetic. 

  • Confident working independently.
