UX Designer

Job Purpose

We’re reimagining content transformation technology by moving from traditional workflow tools to an AI-native, human-centred ecosystem for multilingual content creation.  

You’ll be our founding UX Designer, shaping the experience of this new product; imagining a new, next-generation content transformation platform that blends automation, agency, and trust at the core. 

This is not a design-as-service role. You’ll be embedded in a small innovation team, working directly with product, data, and R&D to prototype, test, and iterate ideas at speed with customers to shape our solution.  

Your mission will be to bring new design thinking and UX best practices to ensure our experience is customer-centric and deploying AI/agentic flows carefully to build trust and confidence for our users. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in evolving environments and is able to design innovative experiences and solve new problems in disruptive ways.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the product development squad (c.6) to direct discovery and UX design along best practices and inject the process with new thinking.  
• Define and prototype user experiences for the new product: from early concept sketches to detailed UX flows and clickable prototypes.  
• Translate complex AI and content transformation workflows into elegant, intuitive interactions for enterprise users (i.e. marketing and brand managers / website managers / compliance officers / etc) 
• Partner with Product and Data leads to validate hypotheses, run rapid user tests, and derive insights from real usage. 
• Create and maintain a lightweight design system that supports fast iteration and consistent UI language. 
• Champion simplicity and usability within a technically sophisticated environment which must deal with huge volumes of work while signposting users to where they can add value.  
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D to ensure prototypes are buildable and scalable.  
• Quickly understand our users and the problems they will meet as our industry evolves, and devise new ways to engage  

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in UX/UI design for SaaS, productivity tools, or data-heavy products with humans in the loop.  
• Proven strength in designing for complex systems, not just surfaces, and designing from ‘zero to one’ in a start-up or for a new product.  
• Figma, FigJam, Miro, or similar tools fluency. Experience building design systems from scratch.  
• Comfort working with ambiguity, iterating fast, and testing hypotheses in a lean cycle.  
• Comfortable discussing with customers, internal SME, product managers, and engineering teams  
• (Bonus) Experience with language technology, AI tools, or enterprise workflow systems.
