Who are we?
We’re a passionate team of builders who are dedicated to delivering solutions that empower people. Today, we’re leveraging AI and gamification to build a vertical platform that is centered around improving the safety readiness of frontline workers in any high risk industry. If you are a doer who thrives in a dynamic, mission-focused environment, join us!
Who are we looking for?
This is our first Implementation & Solutions hire in the United States. Roughly half your week is spent alongside our Account Executives in live deals — running technical discovery, scoping pilots, owning the integration and security questions that decide whether a deal moves, and proving Pixaera works in the customer’s environment. The other half is owning what happens after signature: taking those same accounts from closed-won to a live, adopted deployment.
You are the technical voice the customer trusts before they buy, and the person who makes good on it afterwards. That continuity is deliberate — you scope it, so you deliver it. The role sits within the Customer Success team, carries a pre-sales commission on the business you help win, and offers the progression opportunity to lead and grow the US implementation function.
Key responsibilities
- Pre-Sales Technical Partner: Work as the technical counterpart to our US Account Executives through the sales cycle — running discovery with IT, Safety and L&D stakeholders, demoing Pixaera against the customer’s own hazards and use cases, and owning the answers on integrations, security review and hardware.
- Pilots & Proof of Value: Scope, run and land the pilots that convert. Agree what success looks like with the prospect up front, drive the pilot to that outcome, and build the evidence that gets it signed.
- Technical Deal Assets: Own the technical content a deal turns on — security questionnaires, integration and deployment plans, RFP responses, and the implementation plan that ships with the proposal.
- End-to-End Implementation Ownership: Take the accounts you helped win from closed-won through to a successful go-live, running multiple client onboardings simultaneously.
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and execute rigorous project implementation plans that accelerate Time-to-Value (TTV), proactively identifying and mitigating technical or operational roadblocks.
- Technical Integration & Consultative Partnership: Serve as a consultative technical partner, guiding client IT, Safety, and Learning stakeholders through complex integrations, security assessments, and hardware deployments to ensure zero-friction adoption.
- Tailored Enablement & Training Workshops: Develop instructional materials, user guides, and reporting frameworks tailored to the client’s specific deployment needs, and deliver training on site where it matters.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strategic, long-lasting relationships with key client leads — from the first technical call as a prospect through to trusted advisor as a customer.
- Support and Issue Resolution: Act as the first line of support during pilots and implementation, applying incredible problem-solving skills to remove any friction that slows down adoption.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Product and Content teams to translate US client requirements, competitive intelligence and field feedback into actionable input, helping shape the future of the Pixaera platform.
Success Metrics (How we measure impact)
- Pilot-to-Paid Conversion: The share of pilots and proofs of value you run that convert into signed business.
- Influenced Closed-Won Revenue: The value of deals you partnered on as the technical lead — this is also what your commission is paid on.
- Time-to-Value (TTV): Reducing the duration between contract signature and successful, utilized platform deployment.
- Implementation CSAT: Maintaining high client satisfaction scores throughout the onboarding journey.
- Adoption Rates: Ensuring seamless integration that drives high early-stage user engagement.
Compensation
A base salary of $80,000 – $100,000 depending on experience, plus a pre-sales commission paid on the closed-won business you help win, taking on-target earnings to $130,000. The variable element is real, not a token bonus — a meaningful part of your earnings is tied to deals landing.
Logistics
This role is fully remote, anywhere in the United States. There is no office requirement and no relocation.
Expect to travel to customer and prospect sites across the US — plants, refineries, mines, data centers and training facilities — a few times a quarter, weighted towards pilots and go-lives. Occasional travel to the UK to work with the wider team.
You must already be authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor visas for this role.
Pixaera is headquartered in Manchester, UK, and this is one of our first US hires. A base in the Eastern or Central time zone helps with overlap to the UK team, but we are open across the US for the right person. Real autonomy comes with that: you will shape how implementation and pre-sales support run in this market.
Requirements
Who are you?
A successful candidate will have the following skillsets and experience:
- 2+ years leading or supporting the onboarding and project delivery of complex SaaS solutions — ideally alongside time spent in sales engineering, solutions consulting or pre-sales.
- Comfortable in the deal: you can hold a room of prospect stakeholders, handle a hard technical objection in front of an AE, and you want part of your earnings tied to whether deals close.
- Experience selling into or delivering for US high-risk industries — oil & gas, mining, utilities, chemicals, construction, manufacturing, data centers — or for the US EHS / L&D buyer, is a strong advantage.
- Project Governance Expert: You possess a structured approach to project management, capable of balancing conflicting stakeholder priorities while maintaining a 'red-flag' mindset to resolve issues before they impact go-live timelines.
- Solution-Oriented Problem Solver: You view implementation obstacles as opportunities to improve product delivery. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can independently pivot between high-level client strategy and granular technical troubleshooting.
- A desire to help a startup scale from seed to IPO, thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience leading meetings with senior stakeholders (IT, Safety, and HR) and driving project outcomes through clear communication.
- Naturally tech-savvy and comfortable learning new technologies, including AI, VR/hardware and LMS integrations.
- Experience in the Learning & Development or LMS space is highly beneficial, but not essential.
What you must be:
- Passionately customer-focused, always aiming to understand and meet their needs.
- Obsessive about quality and user experience, striving for excellence in everything you do.
- A team player, valuing collaboration and open communication.
- Adaptable and resilient, ready to face the dynamic challenges of a start-up environment.
- Willing to travel to customer and prospect sites across the US a few times a quarter, and occasionally to the UK to be with the team.
