We’re already successfully running and scaling B2C performance marketing campaigns across multiple channels, and we’re looking for a strong native Japanese marketer to fully own and grow our Japan direction.

This role combines performance marketing, creative strategy, and market ownership. We’re looking for someone who deeply understands Japanese users, local advertising platforms, and what messaging actually converts in the Japanese market.

You’ll be responsible for driving user acquisition primarily through Yahoo Japan Ads and LINE Ads, while shaping the overall marketing approach for Japan.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Launch, optimize, and scale campaigns on Yahoo Ads and LINE Ads
  • Develop creative strategy tailored to the Japanese audience (messaging, visuals, tone of voice)
  • Manage and scale advertising budgets while maintaining profitability targets
  • Own campaign performance and growth metrics (Spend volume, CPA / CAC, Conversion rates, Funnel efficiency)
  • Test creatives, landing pages, and audiences with cultural context in mind
  • Analyze performance and identify new growth opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Born in Japan and native-level Japanese proficiency is mandatory
  • Deep understanding of Japanese internet culture, consumer behavior, local advertising trends and communication nuances and expectations
  • Hands-on experience with Yahoo Japan Ads and LINE Ads, with at least $30,000 monthly in spend on these platforms
  • English: B1 or higher
  • Proven experience promoting B2C products, Digital products / online services / apps / subscriptions
