Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Travel Nurse Recruiter to source, screen, and qualify travel nurse candidates for travel healthcare assignments. In this role, you will leverage social media platforms, a paid Vivien account, and our internal database to build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
The ideal candidate will identify nurses who align with specific job opportunities, conduct prescreening interviews, collect required documentation, and ensure candidates are fully prepared for submission.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified travel nurse candidates using: o Social media platforms
o Paid Vivien account
o Internal candidate database
Prescreen candidates to assess interest, availability, and suitability for specific travel
assignments.
Match candidate qualifications, specialty experience, and job requirements to open
positions.
Clearly communicate assignment details and evaluate candidate alignment.
Collect and verify all required submission documentation, including:
o Resume
o Two professional references
o Skills checklist
o Active nursing license
o Primary source verification
o Required certificates, as applicable
Maintain accurate records of candidate outreach, recruitment activity, status updates, and follow-ups.
Ensure candidates are fully prepared and organized for submission to open opportunities.
Support ongoing candidate engagement and pipeline development.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) KPI 1: Identified Candidates
Target: 12–15 identified candidates per week
An identified candidate is a prescreened travel nurse who:
Is interested in a specific job opportunity.
Meets the required experience and assignment requirements.
Has all required core documentation collected to support submission readiness, including:
o Resume
o Two professional references
o Skills checklist
o Active license
o Primary source verification
o Required certificates (when applicable)
Candidates are counted only after they have been screened, matched to a role, and the required documentation has been collected.
KPI 2: Hires / Starts
Target: 6–8 hires per month
A hire is counted once a travel nurse:
Accepts the assignment.
Completes all required pre-start requirements.
Officially begins their travel nurse assignment.
