Insight is currently seeking a Transcriptionist to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a full time, remote position, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm. Applicants must live in Alberta to be considered for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide overall medical transcription support to the department, accurately transcribing medical dictations.
- Organize and prioritize assigned work and schedule time to accommodate work demands.
- Communicate with radiologists and departments.
- Provide peer support.
- Communicate in a positive and cooperative manner.
- Handle difficult situations in a sensitive and proactive manner.

Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Exceptional grammar, syntax, editing and punctuation skills.
- Attention to detail, concern for accuracy and critical thinking.
- Superior listening skills, focus and concentration.
- General knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures, billing codes, and desktop applications (e.g. Word, Windows).
- Keyboarding proficiency, ability to type 75+ words per minute.
- Ability to complete large volumes of work under deadlines.
- Commitment to excellence in patient care, quality control and adherence to diagnostic imaging standards.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma required.
- Must reside in Alberta.
- Successful completion of a recognized program in Medical Transcription required.
- 1 to 2 years' recent transcription experience required.
- Knowledge of diagnostic imaging processes preferred.
- Reliable, hard-wired at-home internet connection.
