Training Specialist

Position Overview

The Training Specialist develops training courses and instructional materials and conducts formal training for personnel in classroom and instructional environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops and revises these courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs.
• Prepares instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids).
• Prepares student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
• Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops and seminars.
• May provide training on Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.

Certifications

• IAT-2 certification required.

Clearance

• Active Secret clearance required.
