Job Description:
The Telesales Trainer is responsible for delivering in-person product training and for designing, developing, and facilitating training programs that enhance the sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service capabilities of telesales representatives. This role works closely with Telesales Managers to assess training needs, develop materials, and implement learning programs that improve team performance and support business goals.
Duties and responsibilities
• Successfully complete required trainer certification programs
• Design and develop training programs focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service
• Deliver training through in-person facilitation, virtual instruction, and other blended learning formats
• Provide one-on-one coaching to telesales representatives to improve objection handling, closing techniques, and overall sales performance
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance learning outcomes
• Collaborate with Telesales Managers to assess performance gaps and develop tailored training plans
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, compliance guidelines, and telesales best practices
• Create and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and digital resources
• Monitor post-training performance and provide continued coaching and support during nesting

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of telesales techniques including objection handling, closing, and customer engagement
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to facilitate engaging and effective training sessions
Minimum Education and Experience Required
• Active resident health insurance license preferred
• 2+ years of experience in telesales or a related role
• Direct experience in training and coaching
• Experience designing and delivering in-person and virtual training programs
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and instructional design tools
