Work Status: Contract - (Maternity Leave).
Location: Calgary, Alberta (Remote)


About the Role:


Corus Radio Calgary has an exciting opportunity for a Maternity Leave-Contract, position as a Traffic Coordinator in our Calgary office.  Reporting to the Traffic Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the Traffic team. 

You will contribute by:

  • Inputting data entries of traffic orders within our traffic software
  • Assemble and edit commercial logs
  • Assist with filing system
  • Reconcile previous days commercial log
  • Communicate and assist our sales department with inventory inquiries. 
  • Verify contract confirmations
  • Run and Print reports 
  • Assist on-air with commercial traffic inquiries

Skills and experience you will bring: 

  • Prior experience in a radio traffic or broadcasting operational role is preferred
  • Previous Traffic or WideOrbit Software experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Microsoft office computer skills including Excel 
  • Must be pro-active, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task with solid organizational skills.
  • A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach that enables the successful candidate to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity.
