A Day in the Life

The Endo Mechanical and Intelligent Devices (EMID) business within Surgical Innovations Therapies provides advanced surgical technologies that support open and minimally invasive procedures. The portfolio includes surgical stapling systems, staplers and cartridges, open linear cutters, LigaSure vessel sealing technology, and intelligent stapling platforms used across general, gastrointestinal, and related surgical specialties.

This Territory Manager position supports the Ludhiana territory, covering Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, and Bathinda. The role follows a remote, field-based work style and requires extensive travel across the territory, including approximately 50% outstation travel, to support customer engagement, clinical adoption, and business growth.

As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, market penetration, and customer adoption of the EMID portfolio across the assigned territory. The role partners closely with surgeons, operating theatre teams, hospital stakeholders, and channel partners to support clinical utilisation, expand account penetration, and achieve territory business objectives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Achieve territory sales objectives through effective account planning, customer engagement, and execution of growth strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, operating theatre staff, hospital decision-makers, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide clinical and procedural support during surgical cases to facilitate product adoption and customer confidence.
• Identify opportunities to increase utilisation of EMID products and drive conversion from competitive products.
• Manage distributor and channel partner relationships to ensure product availability and customer service excellence.
• Conduct product presentations, educational discussions, and approved customer engagement activities to support awareness and adoption.
• Analyse territory performance, customer trends, and competitive activity to develop account-specific business plans.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, business reports, and territory records in accordance with company requirements.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years experience*
• OR Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years experience*
• OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience*

Preferred:

• Experience selling surgical devices, stapling technologies, energy-based devices, endoscopy, gastrointestinal, hernia, or related surgical portfolios. Experience providing support during surgical procedures within operating theatre environments.
• Established professional relationships with surgeons, hospitals, and healthcare institutions across Punjab.
• Experience managing distributors, channel partners, and territory business plans.
• Experience supporting adoption of premium healthcare technologies within a competitive market.
