The Technical Project Manager will oversee the PD-level schedule, budget, and resource management for AWS-driven initiatives. They will also facilitate governance meetings, track project health, and drive continuous improvement of the digital operating model.
What You'll Do
Product Domain (PD) Schedule
- Create and maintain the PD-level schedule that accounts for all DXE-driven initiatives under the PD's umbrella, including key milestones (e.g., major deployments) and dependencies (e.g., other initiatives within the PD).
- Track DXE-driven initiatives in other PDs that this PD depends on.
- Track non-DXE-driven initiatives that the PD depends on.
PD Resource & Demand Management
- Collaborate with delivery teams to identify all DXE and other BTS resource groups required to deliver each initiative in the PD.
- Ensure resource plans are built, validated, and maintained in ServiceNow.
- Facilitate periodic "bottoms-up" reforecasting of demand vs. capacity needs within the PD.
PD Budget Management
- Build and maintain a comprehensive view of the PD budget (labor and licensing), tracking original budget vs. baseline forecast vs. actuals vs. revised forecast.
- Conduct weekly QA of time-tracking allocations vs. actuals at the initiative and resource group level; partner with the PD Lead and Product Managers to flag and resolve discrepancies.
- Support procurement management for the PD, including SOWs/CRs, license procurement/management, and vendor management.
PD Status Tracking, Management & Reporting
- Produce weekly Project Health Reports (PHRs) at the PD level and for key, high-priority/visibility initiatives — covering accomplishments/value delivered, major upcoming milestones, issues, and risks.
- Track and manage initiative-level issues, risks, and leadership asks for the PD.
- Track and manage initiative-level dependencies and constraints for the PD.
PD Governance
- Support coordination and facilitation of recurring PD status/steering meetings (e.g., Product Domain Status, Product Domain CDO Review, Product Domain Tech Oversight, Product Domain Steering Committee), including capturing/communicating decisions and tracking action items.
- Coordinate creation and updates of materials required for the meetings above.
- Own the schedule, budget/resource management, and issue/risk management content for those meetings.
OneList Governance
- Coordinate the DXE team's involvement in OneList governance processes, including developing/revising estimates and ensuring relevant content is captured in ServiceNow.
Process Improvement
- Support development and implementation of continuous improvement to the Digital Operating Model.
- Define, mentor, and evangelize best practices for how DXE teams engage and collaborate with one another, and with teams outside DXE (other BTS teams, Shared Services, LOBs).
- Support development of standard digital operating procedures, playbooks, tools, and training materials.
Who You Are
- You have hands-on experience implementing AWS systems — cloud infrastructure builds, migrations, or environment rollouts — with the technical fluency to partner directly with engineering teams on delivery. This is a required qualification.
- You have proven experience managing complex, multi-initiative program schedules and dependencies, ideally across a portfolio or "domain" spanning several concurrent workstreams.
- You're comfortable building and maintaining resource and demand plans in a system like ServiceNow, and you know how to run a rigorous process for reconciling time tracking against forecast.
- You have direct experience owning a program or portfolio budget (labor and licensing), and are fluent in tracking baseline vs. forecast vs. actuals and supporting procurement activities like SOWs, change requests, and vendor/license management.
- You're a strong, structured communicator who can produce clear, concise status reporting for leadership audiences.
- You're skilled at facilitating recurring governance and steering meetings — capturing decisions, driving action items to closure, and keeping cross-functional stakeholders aligned.
- You think in terms of process and repeatability, and are motivated to help build playbooks, templates, and training that make delivery more consistent across teams.
