The Technical Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams across operations and technology to ensure project planning, status tracking, and delivery visibility. They are responsible for maintaining project documentation, managing dependencies, and facilitating clear communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.

About Us

At Alteva RCM, we're dedicated to helping healthcare providers thrive through expert revenue cycle management, strategic insight, and innovative solutions. We're always looking for passionate, driven professionals who want to make a meaningful impact, grow their careers, and be part of a collaborative team committed to excellence.

About the Role

Alteva RCM is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to support a complex operations and technology environment spanning multiple internal systems, process improvement initiatives, reporting workflows, and vendor-supported delivery.

This role will serve as a central point of coordination across operational and technology projects, owning project planning, status tracking, stakeholder communication, risk and blocker follow-up, documentation hygiene, and delivery visibility across cross-functional teams. The Project Manager will support the requirements process by capturing discussion points, tracking open questions, coordinating stakeholder input, and ensuring decisions and next steps are clearly documented.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across business and technical teams. They can turn discussions into clear next steps, timelines, owners, follow-ups, and measurable progress.

What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day coordination across product, operations, technology, QA, IT, and external development partners.
  • Drive project follow-through from intake through requirements, development, QA, release readiness, and post-release tracking.
  • Translate business discussions into clear requirements, action items, owners, timelines, and open questions.
  • Maintain project plans, Jira tickets, Notion documentation, status trackers, and related project artifacts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external development partners to ensure work is clearly scoped, prioritized, and moving forward.
  • Support and maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, action items, decision logs, project trackers, Jira updates, release plans, and stakeholder follow-up materials.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of PRDs and functional specifications in partnership with Product Leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Track dependencies, risks, blockers, and unresolved decisions across multiple active initiatives.
  • Prepare concise updates for leadership and operational stakeholders.
  • Ensure QA, UAT, and stakeholder sign-off steps are planned and completed before releases.
  • Follow up consistently with stakeholders to keep projects moving without requiring constant escalation.
  • Help build repeatable project management processes that can scale over time.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, this person should help the team operate with better visibility, cleaner handoffs, stronger follow-through, and less reliance on product leadership to manually chase every detail. Specifically:

  • Active initiatives have clear owners, next steps, timelines, and blockers.
  • Jira and Notion are consistently updated and trusted by the team.
  • Requirements and decisions are documented clearly.
  • Stakeholders know where work stands without repeated follow-up.
  • Releases have better coordination across product, operations, development, QA, and IT.
  • Product leadership has more capacity to focus on prioritization, strategy, and cross-functional alignment.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of project management experience in operations, technology, healthcare, revenue cycle, SaaS, or a related environment.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional projects with business, technical, and operational stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment, including sprints, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Experience working directly with developers and technical teams. You do not need to write code, but you need to follow technical conversations and help turn them into clear action items.
  • Ability to gather requirements, document decisions, and drive follow-through across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar.
  • Strong written communication skills. Clear, concise documentation is core to this role.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and bringing structure to fast-moving environments.
  • Strong follow-up discipline and ownership mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Jira and Notion specifically.
  • Experience working with Salesforce-related projects.
  • Background in healthcare operations, revenue operations, regulated operations, or complex workflow-driven environments.
  • Experience coordinating with external development vendors or offshore teams.
  • Familiarity with QA, UAT, release management, and production support processes.
  • Comfort in environments where processes are still being built.

Location & Availability

This is a fully remote role. It requires a minimum of 6 hours daily overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours, with availability for periodic coordination with Israel-based stakeholders as needed.

Eastern Europe time zones may work well for this role, though other locations will be considered if the overlap requirement is met.

Who You Are

You are structured, practical, and dependable, with a strong bias toward action. You do not wait for perfect direction. You clarify what is needed, document what was decided, identify risks and blockers, and keep projects moving.

You are comfortable working across business and technology teams and can serve as a bridge between stakeholders and execution. You communicate clearly with senior leadership, operations teams, developers, QA, IT, and external vendors, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely follow-through.
