Buddy Advisory is proud to be partnering with Contacx, a leading Amazon Connect partner helping organisations across APAC rethink how they engage with their customers.

Contacx designs and delivers contact centre solutions on Amazon Connect, bringing AWS-integrated AI to some of the region's most customer-focused businesses. They work closely with AWS and many of their projects come straight from that partnership. The team works across Melbourne, Perth and the Philippines, in small, focused delivery squads.

Now it's New Zealand's turn. Kiwi clients want a delivery partner on the ground that they can rely on, and Contacx is building one. The NZ entity is set up, the demand is there, and the business is heading into a period of exciting growth.

The Role

As Technical Delivery Manager, you'll be one of the first Contacx hires in New Zealand, helping establish and grow our presence in the market. You'll lead Amazon Connect and CCaaS implementations from end to end, work directly with senior client stakeholders, and deliver solutions leveraging cutting-edge AWS AI technologies, including generative and agentic AI. You'll play a key role in helping our customers transform their customer experience while building the team, capability and reputation Contacx needs to become a leading CX and AI technology partner in New Zealand.

To start, you'll join the Melbourne squad to learn how Contacx delivers. From there you'll help stand up the NZ squad and ensure every client gets the same exceptional service delivery quality that Contacx is known for in other regions.

What You'll Do

• Own delivery of Amazon Connect implementations end to end, from scoping to go-live

• Act as the trusted lead for senior client stakeholders

• Work alongside squad leaders, engineers and delivery analysts to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

• Manage several projects and clients at once, keeping scope, risk and timelines on track

• Help shape how the NZ squad works as it grows

• Build strong relationships with AWS in New Zealand

What You'll Bring

• Our ideal candidate brings hands-on experience delivering CCaaS implementations (Amazon Connect, Genesys, NICE, Five9 or similar) from a consulting background

• Experience in a client-facing and delivery role that includes managing senior stakeholders

• Curiosity about AI and how generative and agentic tools can transform customer experience

• Real ownership: You take projects from kick-off to go-live and beyond, owning scope, timelines and client outcomes along the way

• Ambition and drive to grow, and to help build something new

• Comfort in a flat, fast-moving environment

• Based in New Zealand (Ideally in or near Auckland, or able to travel there regularly)
