Job Description

Your Role

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to support the our client´s Health Sightline initiative. In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and accounting operations — driving complex requirements, data analysis, and system enhancement efforts within a healthcare and insurance environment.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Partnering with business stakeholders, developers, QA resources, and accounting teams to elicit, document, and refine business and system requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and data mapping documents.
  • Supporting student health insurance platform enhancements, school migrations, billing process improvements, data migration activities, and system integrations.
  • Performing advanced data analysis, reconciliation, and validation across multiple systems and data sources, including inbound and outbound carrier, enrollment, eligibility, and financial data files.
  • Facilitating requirements workshops, backlog refinement sessions, system demonstrations, and UAT activities while supporting production issue analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Leveraging AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot to accelerate requirements analysis, documentation, and user story development, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate who brings a strong mix of analytical capability, technical proficiency, and collaborative communication skills. You are someone who thrives in complex, data-rich environments and takes ownership of their work with confidence.

  • Technical BA expertise: 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst supporting software development projects, with strong skills in SQL, data mapping, transformation logic, and Agile delivery using tools such as Jira.
  • Analytical mindset: Demonstrated ability to independently analyse complex datasets, identify discrepancies, challenge assumptions, and clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Domain knowledge: Experience supporting billing, accounting, finance, or premium administration functions, with familiarity in enrollment, eligibility, carrier reporting, and financial workflows in healthcare, insurance, or benefits administration environments.
  • Collaborative & self-driven: Comfortable working across business, accounting, operations, and technology teams simultaneously, with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • AI & integration awareness: Experience reading and understanding data models, API and interface specifications, and integration documentation, with a willingness to apply AI tools to enhance productivity and quality.
