Job Summary

TECH, DEVELOPER SR II – ServiceNow. Compass Group USA, Inc. Charlotte, NC. Must telecommute (work from home) from anywhere in the U.S. and report to Charlotte, NC company location. Develop new features or address defects on the ServiceNow platform for ESFMx. Develop and train team on automated testing. Estimate development stories in backlog. Perform Quality Assurance on development prior to hand-off to QA team. Update change sets in ServiceNow. Explore new functionality in ServiceNow platform. Work directly with the product owner on stories for development. Break down functional requirements into development tasks and assign story points. Identify, design and propose new features, functionality, and solutions in support of core tenants. Drive execution of planned tasks, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within the prescribed scope. Critically assess systems for ease of use, propose changes based on opportunity identification. Assist with troubleshooting identified issues with ESFMx. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders, ESFM employees, and third-party vendors. Perform peer review of code. Participate in daily scrum meetings. Work M-F 8am – 5pm and overtime as needed along with weekends when needed (upgrades and/or support).

 

Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field or foreign equivalent. Requires three (3) years of ServiceNow configuration and development experience to include three (3) years: ServiceNow Mobile; ServiceNow Dashboards and Reporting; administering ServiceNow instances including group roles, permissions, modifications for business rules, workflows, UI pages, UI actions, and UI policies; supporting the implementation, administration, configuration and development of ServiceNow; Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);  communicating and translating technical information to non-technical audiences; and with one of the following: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Angular, Bootstrap, or Jelly Script.
