Raytheon Finance is seeking a dynamic, forward‑thinking Associate Director to lead an integrated Talent Strategy & Development, CORE, and Communications organization. This leader will design and execute a Finance talent strategy that accelerates capability growth, enhances career mobility, and enables Finance employees to thrive across all stages of their career—from onboarding to early career, to senior professional development.

The role oversees a high‑impact team that delivers learning programs, career development pathways, CORE adoption and harmonization, change management, and strategic internal communications. This position partners closely with Finance senior leaders and RTX Corporate stakeholders to strengthen the Finance talent pipeline, drive strategic capability development aligned to Finance priorities, deliver business‑critical training, and ensure clear and consistent communication across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings strategic vision and operational excellence, with expertise in workforce planning, organizational and leadership development, and communication strategy. Success in this role requires the ability to influence at all levels, navigate ambiguity, and deliver high‑quality learning and development solutions that elevate Finance performance while building capabilities for the future.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team of 7-8 employees, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
  • Serve as the CORE Business Partner providing strategic senior leadership support to enable compliant adoption and execution of the CORE Operating System
  • Lead the annual goal alignment activities with the Finance Leadership Team (FLT) and collaborate with each Finance subdomain.
  • Partner with Finance and HR leadership to define and execute a data‑driven hiring strategy that aligns capability needs with business priorities, strengthens the Finance talent pipeline, and supports workforce planning initiatives.
  • Lead Finance talent development programs and employee‑experience initiatives, including the Intern Program, Finance Academy of Management, Finance Leadership Development Program, new employee onboarding, engagement events, and career‑development resources, in partnership with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance leadership.
  • Lead Finance communications and change management strategy by driving enterprise-wide messaging, harmonization communications, executive engagement forums, CFO Town Halls, Extended Leader Alignment Meetings, and managing key communication platforms such as the Raytheon Finance SharePoint Site (Finance Hub) and weekly Finance Newsletter.
  • Drive the end‑to‑end Finance Learning Strategy by partnering with Finance SBUs, Functions, RTX Finance Learning leadership, and Change Champions to design, align, and execute business‑critical training. This includes major in‑person programs such as Finance Critical Thinking and governance of key learning platforms to foster a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Support and influence the Finance organization through collaboration with SBU/FP&A Leaders and internal Business Process partnerships.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the finance organization by leading the People’s Council network.
  • Mentor and develop talent within the organization.
  • This role will require occasional travel to support in person engagements and programs.
