Manage full-cycle recruiting across a portfolio of roles while acting as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers. Drive continuous improvement through the tracking of recruitment metrics and the development of proactive talent pipelines.

Job Description:

We believe in bold ideas, diverse perspectives, and the drive to transform knowledge into impact. Here, your curiosity fuels progress, your voice shapes innovation, and your ambition helps redefine what’s possible within science and learning. We are a culture that obsesses over impact, challenges, and drives what’s next to power infinite possibilities for our customers, colleagues and society at large.

About the Role:

About the role

As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Wiley, you'll do more than fill roles — you'll act as a strategic partner to the business, helping hiring managers make smarter, faster decisions backed by data and market insight. You'll own full-cycle recruiting across your assigned business areas, building genuine talent pipelines and delivering a candidate experience that reflects who we are.

This is a role for someone who thinks proactively, not reactively — someone who leads with insight, challenges the brief when needed, and earns a seat at the table as a trusted hiring advisor.

What you'll do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across a portfolio of roles, partnering closely with hiring managers from intake through to offer.
  • Act as a true talent advisor — bring market data, competitive intelligence, and pipeline insights to every conversation, not just candidate CVs.
  • Source proactively across multiple channels to build and maintain talent pipelines before roles go live.
  • Consult with hiring managers to define role requirements, set realistic expectations, and shape effective hiring strategies.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics (time to fill, pipeline health, quality of hire) to drive continuous improvement and inform business decisions.
  • Champion candidate experience at every stage — from first contact through to onboarding handover.
  • Support employer branding and talent marketing initiatives that position Wiley as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure all hiring activity is compliant with employment law, internal policy, and our commitment to diversity and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to align talent acquisition activity with broader workforce planning.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that make the TA function smarter, faster, and more impactful.

What we're looking for

Required:

  • 4–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either in-house, RPO, or agency (in-house or RPO strongly preferred).
  • A genuine business-partner mindset — you influence, advise, and push back constructively, rather than simply taking orders.
  • Strong data literacy — you're comfortable pulling and presenting hiring metrics, and you use them to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and consult at all levels.
  • Experience with an ATS and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of employment law and inclusive hiring best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously without dropping the ball on candidate or hiring manager experience.

Nice to have:

  • Experience recruiting across multiple geographies (US, UK, or Europe).
  • Familiarity with Workday Recruit.
  • Background recruiting for technology, publishing, or knowledge-driven businesses.
