Systems Analyst

Job Summary: 
The Systems Analyst focuses on the overall architecture and design of information systems to improve business processes; this includes hardware, software, and network infrastructure. The individual is responsible for analyzing business needs and developing solutions to those needs while adhering to and maintaining best practice, organizational and regulatory standards as determined by the IT and Organizational Leadership.  Responsibilities include working with end-users, vendors, and internal Information Technology technical staff to identify business requirements.

The Systems Analyst may be required to provide support coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The ability and means to regularly travel throughout the UVM Health Network may be required.

Education:   
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Experience:   
• Preferred: Experience with system support and/or implementation.
• Alternatively: 1-2 years of relevant operational experience in lieu of direct system support.
