Provide remote technical and application support to Japanese-speaking customers, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and operational inquiries.
Communicate effectively in Japanese with hotel and restaurant customers, translating business requirements and technical issues into actionable solutions for internal teams.
Mid-level support professional to handle Food and Beverage point of sale software (POS) support in hotel and restaurant environments.
Support includes: understanding Food and Beverage operational flow, user requirements / installation and setup of equipment such as servers, workstations, printers and other relevant devices / system configuration / site survey and testing for the system equipment / remote system testing / simple documentation etc.
Knowledge of network cable connection for multiple hardware devices is required.
Ensure the solution meets specifications and functions per customer specific operational work flow.
Report the additional functional request from customers to our internal Product and Development team.
Answer operational and application questions and consult the customer.
Work coordination with various internal technical teams, such as Product Team / Implementation Team / Development Team, etc.
Remote-based support of all Shiji applications and hardware.
Support scheduled after hours on-call roster.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business or a related technical field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with software troubleshooting, hardware and software installation / upgrades.
Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N1 level (certification preferred) or equivalent native/fluent Japanese communication skills is required, as this role provides remote support to customers in Japan.
Business-level English proficiency is also required for collaboration with global internal teams.
Experience supporting customers remotely in a technical, hospitality, or SaaS environment is highly preferred.
Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and professionally in both Japanese and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint.
Ability to quickly learn the Company's various IT solutions and products, and to handle system installation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal teams.
