As a Supply Chain Support Specialist at ICON Plc, you will support the management and execution of clinical trials by handling a range of administrative and operational tasks.
What You Will Do:
You will take ownership of clinical trial management deliverables, applying your expertise to complex challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
The Supply Chain Support Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the integrity of Temperature Excursions and supports the processing of Manufacturing Requests.
Effectively execute pre-production activities to enable on-time job handover within Global Packaging Operations.
Timely progression and approval of clinical site temperature excursions to ensure continuity of clinical supplies.
Providing support to the Global Packaging Operations and Clinical Interface teams within the Clinical Supply Chain function
Participate in management monitoring activities for Pre-Production Management
On-time approval of GMP PMD Manufacturing Requests (MRs) in the local inventory management system to enable internal and external packaging pre-production activities and maintain supply of clinical trial material
Management of temperature excursions for local depots, in-transit excursions from local depots, and clinical site excursions
Management of inventory: movement of stock around the network as required ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time
Your Profile:
You will have a strong foundation in clinical trial management, with the experience to work independently and guide others.
Required qualifications and experience:
University degree or equivalent background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management
Temperature Excursion management conducting root cause analyses and identifying corrective and preventive actions
Be rigorous, meticulous, pragmatic and manage complexity
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
