We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong Quality & Food Safety, operational or technical background, a good understanding of manufacturing environments, and hands-on experience gained in beverage production, to drive the Q&FS agenda across PepsiCo’s European franchise beverage manufacturing network, covering 45+ bottling sites.

This is a highly autonomous and diverse role, offering the opportunity to make a real impact across a broad European manufacturing network. You will work closely with senior leaders, experience different markets and manufacturing environments, and travel internationally while building a strong cross-functional network across PepsiCo and its franchise partners.

To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in Quality, Food Safety, Manufacturing, Technical Services within beverage manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety Management Systems, AIB and audit programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into practical business solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
• Capability to conduct audits, lead corrective action programs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to manufacturing sites and franchise partners (25%-50%) across BCCA and Europe

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Quality & Food Safety programs across Europe FOBO, covering 45+ franchise beverage manufacturing sites.
• Drive compliance with PepsiCo Q&FS standards, GMP, HACCP, QAS, AIB and GFSI requirements, including timely CAPA closure.
• Lead QAS audits and drive risk-based follow-up and continuous improvement.
• Monitor Quality & Food Safety KPIs, identify key risks and drive performance improvement across sites.
• Lead and support qualification, validation and commissioning of new plants, lines, equipment and processes.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and capability building to franchise sites.
• Support product incidents, root cause analysis and risk mitigation.
• Partner with R&D, FSQA, PGCS, Technical Services, Operations and Manufacturing on commercialization, validation and Q&FS initiatives.
• Support and advise bottlers on productivity initiatives and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Technology or Biotechnology, Production/Process Engineering, or another relevant technical or scientific field.
• Strong experience in Quality, Food Safety and Manufacturing within beverages industry
• Sound knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety Systems and auditing.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence, lead change and work effectively across multiple sites and functions.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) methodologies.
• Expertise in problem-solving tools including 5 Why, Ishikawa (Fishbone), Pareto Analysis
