Description:

The Research/Regulatory/Outcomes Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Director in the daily activities in the Center of Excellence Clinical Research & Outcomes Division. Will assure efficient operations while meeting the needs of our customers (internal patients, physicians and other departments) and external (regulatory agencies including the FDA, CMS, insurers, as well as study sponsors, contract research organizations and site management organizations, technical advisors, national registry contacts (NCDR, STS and medical leadership and students/faculty of FIU Herbert Wertheim School of Medicine.). Will provide leadership and staff development for assigned personnel, acts as a resource to other areas when necessary. The specialist/supervisor works collaboratively with the Center of Excellence physicians, management and staff to facilitate the provision of quality patient care and improve patient care delivery processes as well as to promote and facilitate research and publication of significant patient care improvements. Represents the department and Center of Excellence at national meetings. Estimated salary range for this position is $100505.60 - $133672.45 / year depending on experience.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Registered Nurse.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing - BSN required.
• 10 years clinical nursing experience in Center of Excellence including a minimum of 2 years in Center of Excellence Research & Outcomes specialty area.
• Advanced proficiency in computer programs: MS OFFICE, specialty databases, both quantitative and qualitative data management, and clinical systems such as Net Access, SMS, PACS, PHS etc.
• Demonstrated leadership and excellent interpersonal communication skills as evidenced by ability to work collaboratively with internal/external customers to enhance Center of Excellence standing.
• Proven track record of excellence in selected area as evidenced by successful change strategies and process improvements.
