This role is responsible for leading and developing a team of Campaign Management and National Optimization professionals, building cross-channel digital marketing strategies that align with client objectives and KPIs. Supporting Client Services and New Business teams, this role drives revenue growth and ensures team performance and client service quality meet organizational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Researches clients, their industry, and their objectives to develop well-informed, innovative cross-channel strategic plans, including solutions beyond the client's initial request. Conducts inventory evaluations independently or with vendors and prepares a formal proposal.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to support the onboarding, launch, and post-fulfillment of custom programs, acting as an additional resource for Campaign Managers throughout the program lifecycle. Proactively shares knowledge and experience with team members.
  • Continually increases knowledge and expertise of the digital marketing ecosystem and its advancements. Shares industry updates with teammates.
  • Supports Sales with new business proposal delivery, coaching reps on new strategies or products and leading as technical and strategic expert on client pitch calls, as needed.
  • Drives operational excellence by identifying efficiency opportunities, keeping proposal materials relevant and competitive, and streamlining end-to-end proposal and onboarding processes.
  • Directly manages and develops a team, including hiring, onboarding, workload distribution, and day-to-day guidance on client and account matters.
  • Sets performance expectations and conducts regular one-on-ones, coaching, and formal performance reviews for direct reports. Identifies development needs and creates growth plans to build team capability and support career pathing.
  • Serves as the escalation point for complex client or campaign issues surfaced by the team, ensuring timely resolution, consistent application of processes, and quality control across campaign performance and client communications.

 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Display (or ability to obtain), preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience, required.
  • Digital marketing experience including SEM, SEO, websites, listings management, social media, display, etc. required.
  • Experience working with bid management tools such as Acquisto, Skai, or Marin required
  • 7+ years of related experience, preferred.
  • Strong industry knowledge of pay-per-click mechanics, analysis, and reporting, with the ability to work with large, corporate, and national accounts.
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with and lead peers and cross-functional team members, as well as present to prospects and clients.
  • Developed technical aptitude with the ability to utilize industry related tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Highly skilled in Excel with the ability to compile and sort data via use of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, macros, conditional formatting, etc.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to translate client needs into media strategies and tactics and to research data and technology that inform user intent and measure outcomes for ongoing optimization.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task, handle follow-up, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • People leadership skills, including the ability to set clear expectations, delegate effectively, identify skill gaps, and hold direct reports accountable for performance, campaign quality, and client outcomes.
  • Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
  • Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.

Pay Transparency

The base salary for this position is $57,000 to $76,500k USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
