Subject Matter Expert – Linux & Red Hat OpenShift

Manning Global, an Internationally renowned staffing and managed services organization specializing in providing staffing solutions for leading corporations in AI, IT & Telecoms, Engineering, Digital Media, Automotive and Renewable Energy is recruiting for Subject Matter Expert – Linux & Red Hat OpenShift on behalf of one of their blue-chip international clients to join their organization in the India.

About the Role

The company is looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Linux and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform to support enterprise infrastructure deployments across our client engagements. You will provide deep technical expertise in containerised workload management, platform operations, and infrastructure automation, ensuring that the platforms we build are resilient, secure, and optimised for enterprise-scale AI and data workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environments for enterprise clients across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
  

• Provide expert guidance on Linux system administration, kernel tuning, and performance optimisation for data and AI workloads.
  

• Implement and maintain container orchestration strategies, including namespace management, resource quotas, and network policies.
  

• Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Ansible, Terraform, or Helm to automate platform provisioning and configuration.
  

• Collaborate with data engineering and AI teams to ensure infrastructure is appropriately sized and configured for production workloads.
  

• Implement security hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance controls across all managed platforms.
  

• Provide technical mentorship and knowledge transfer to client infrastructure teams during and after delivery engagements.
  

Experience/Qualifications: 

• Deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes architecture and administration.
  

• Experience 10 plus years.
  

• Advanced RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) administration and kernel tuning experience.
  

• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
  

• Strong understanding of container security, vulnerability scanning, and compliance hardening.
  

• Solid grasp of software-defined networking (SDN) and enterprise storage solutions.
  

• Work in a European time zone.
