As a Mendix Development Intern, you will support the ongoing development, testing, and enhancement of a Mendix app under the guidance of the Social Intelligence & Activation team. You will gain practical experience in low-code development, user-centered design, and the intersection of marketing technology and sales enablement within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and enhancement of the app using the Mendix low-code platform
  • Assist with building and refining app features, workflows, and user interface components based on team requirements and user feedback
  • Participate in QA and testing cycles, identifying and documenting bugs or usability issues
  • Collaborate with team members to translate functional requirements into app functionality
  • Support documentation efforts related to app features, development decisions, and update logs
  • Assist with the rollout of new features or updates, including testing in staging environments prior to deployment
  • Contribute to ongoing optimization efforts by reviewing app performance and recommending improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders — including marketing and sales enablement teams — to ensure the app meets user needs
  • Develop the ability to operate with increasing independence on clearly defined development tasks over the course of the internship

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with the Mendix low-code platform (academic, project-based, or certification experience accepted)
  • Familiarity with basic UX/UI principles and an interest in building intuitive user experiences
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in testing and documentation
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills — ability to translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Nice to Have

  • Mendix Rapid Developer certification (or in progress)
  • Familiarity with Agile or project management tools (Wrike, Planner, or similar)
  • Interest in B2B marketing, sales enablement, or marketing technology

What You'll Gain

  • Direct experience building and iterating on a live internal product used by 90+ sellers globally
  • Exposure to how marketing and sales teams leverage technology to drive social selling at scale
  • Collaboration with experienced marketing professionals across a global organization
