Strategic Growth & Partnerships Leader
Location: Remote (US), with required travel for key partner meetings
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports to: CEO
Company: Ladder Health
About Ladder Health
Ladder Health is reimagining early developmental care for children and families. We provide expert-quality, family-centered therapy and support at scale, combining virtual-first care delivery with partnerships across leading pediatric practices, health systems/NICUs, and strategic clinical partnerships. Our mission is to break barriers so that every child at risk of developmental delay gets timely, effective care and the opportunity to thrive, regardless of geography, insurance, or family circumstance.
The Role & Strategic Opportunity
Following our successful, oversubscribed Seed funding round, Ladder Health is entering an exciting new phase of growth. As we expand partnerships with leading pediatric practices, children's hospitals, and health systems across the country, we are seeking our first Strategic Growth & Partnerships Leader to help build the commercial operating system that will support Ladder Health's next stage of national expansion.
Working directly with the CEO, this individual will help build Ladder Health's enterprise growth engine, accelerating strategic partnerships, coordinating cross-functional execution, and developing the commercial systems needed to support national scale.
This is not a traditional enterprise sales role; we're seeking an entrepreneurial healthcare leader who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building new processes, and can serve as an extension of the CEO across strategic growth initiatives.
Core Focus & Primary Outcomes
- Primary Outcome: Build, advance, and expand strategic health system partnerships that accelerate regional growth, strengthen local market presence, and expand Ladder Health's national footprint
- Secondary Outcome: Build repeatable commercial systems, strengthen enterprise partnerships, and drive cross-functional execution that enables scalable organizational growth
- Long-Term Outcome: Help evolve Ladder Health from founder-led enterprise sales into a repeatable, scalable commercial organization capable of supporting national expansion
Core Responsibilities
1. Build & Advance Strategic Enterprise Partnerships
- Identify, prioritize, and develop relationships with leading children's hospitals, health systems, and pediatric provider organizations
- Map complex stakeholder environments, identify executive and clinical champions, and build market-specific engagement strategies
- Lead early-stage partnership discussions and coordinate executive engagement throughout the sales process
- Build business cases that help prioritize markets, partnerships, and commercial investments
2. Drive Enterprise Growth Execution
- Own the operational execution of the enterprise pipeline, ensuring opportunities continue moving with urgency and discipline
- Prepare the CEO and executive team for strategic meetings, proposals, negotiations, and partnership discussions
- Develop scalable commercial playbooks, meeting preparation frameworks, and follow-up systems that institutionalize founder-led growth
- Partner closely with regional Ladder Liaisons to identify enterprise opportunities within existing markets and coordinate regional growth efforts
3. Expand & Strengthen Strategic Partnerships
- Serve as the executive commercial lead for key health system relationships from initial engagement through implementation and expansion
- Partner with Clinical, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to ensure successful partner launches and long-term success
- Identify opportunities to expand successful pilots into broader enterprise partnerships
- Support regional teams by advancing executive-level relationships while enabling Ladder Liaisons to focus on physician engagement and local market development
4. Serve as a Strategic Growth Operator
- Act as a trusted extension of the CEO on priority growth initiatives, helping translate strategy into coordinated execution across the organization
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams spanning Growth, Clinical, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Revenue Cycle
- Represent the voice of current and prospective partners in internal planning and product discussions
- Build repeatable systems, processes, and operating rhythms that strengthen Ladder Health's long-term commercial organization
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of business development, enterprise partnerships, strategic operations, commercialization, growth strategy, or Chief of Staff experience supporting healthcare organizations, digital health companies, or health systems

- Workflow Comprehension: Strong understanding of health system operations, patient routing, care coordination, and ambulatory referral infrastructure (i.e. EMR/Epic interfaces)
- Executive Presence: Comfortable engaging physicians, health system executives, board members, investors, and senior internal leaders with professionalism, credibility, and sound judgment
- High Agency: Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills. An organized self-starter who handles high-volume follow-up with absolute professional persistence
- Builder Mindset: Thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys creating structure where none exists, and takes ownership for building scalable systems rather than simply operating within existing ones
