Descriptions & Requirements

Job Description and Requirements

We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You have spent years working in the space where simulation meets real silicon, and you know that power integrity and signal integrity problems do not announce themselves politely. They hide in corner cases, emerge under load, and cost months if caught late. You are the kind of engineer who can look at a customer's design flow, spot the gap, and build a workflow that actually fits how they work, not how a textbook says they should work.

You do not just run tools. You understand what the results mean, why a voltage drop matters at this node but not that one, why electromigration shows up in one block and not another. When a customer says "this does not look right," you know how to debug it, whether the issue is in the netlist, the model, or the analysis setup itself.

Working directly with customers energizes you. You like the problem-solving, the teaching, the moment when an engineering team finally sees why the analysis matters. You are comfortable traveling to customer sites, sitting in their labs, and working through real designs under real pressure. At Synopsys, you will work with semiconductor teams building the next generation of AI, HPC, and mobile chips, and what you help them solve will make it to production.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead technical engagements with semiconductor customers across Israel, including onsite meetings, product demonstrations, workflow evaluations, and solution deployments that directly support active sales opportunities
  • Analyze customer design environments and engineering workflows to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities where RedHawk-SC platform can streamline power integrity and signal integrity analysis
  • Build and demonstrate custom simulation workflows using RedHawk-SC that solve real customer problems, not generic use cases, tailored to IC design, 3DIC integration, and high-speed digital systems
  • Translate customer technical requirements and pain points into actionable product development requests for engineering teams, ensuring field feedback shapes future releases
  • Deliver hands-on deployment services and training sessions, from introductory overviews to intermediate deep dives, ensuring customers can independently use the tools after you leave
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, and R&D teams to position the full ANSYS portfolio and contribute to internal initiatives that improve presales effectiveness and technical enablement

The Impact You Will Have

  • Accelerate design cycles for leading semiconductor companies by delivering simulation workflows that catch signal integrity and power integrity issues before they reach silicon
  • Drive software revenue growth by turning complex technical evaluations into successful deployments, proving value in real customer environments rather than controlled demos
  • Shape future Synopsys/ANSYS product capabilities by serving as the voice of the customer, ensuring R&D teams understand what actually matters in Israel's IC design and 3DIC markets
  • Build long-term technical credibility with engineering teams at major accounts, becoming the trusted resource they call when a tough problem needs solving
  • Enable customer engineering teams to work faster and with more confidence by teaching them how to use RedHawk-SC effectively, not just correctly
  • Reduce time-to-market for next-generation chips by helping customers integrate power and signal integrity analysis earlier in their design workflows
  • Influence how simulation and analysis tools are adopted across the region, setting the standard for technical excellence in customer-facing engineering

What You'll Need

  • BSEE, MSEE, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in Power Integrity, Signal Integrity, EMIR analysis, package analysis, IC implementation, or semiconductor applications engineering
  • Strong understanding of power delivery networks, voltage drop analysis, electromigration, package effects, and system-level integrity challenges
  • Experience with RedHawk-SC or equivalent commercial EDA solutions
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Tcl, Perl, or similar languages
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both engineering teams and technical decision-makers
  • Customer-facing experience in applications engineering, consulting, technical support, or deployment roles is highly desirable, and experience with advanced-node technologies, chip-package co-analysis, 2.5D/3DIC, or AI/HPC designs is a strong plus

Who You Are

  • You can walk into a customer meeting with incomplete information, ask the right technical questions, and leave with a clear plan that the customer actually believes in
  • You know how to explain a complex tradeoff between simulation accuracy and runtime to an engineering manager who needs an answer today, not a lecture
  • You are comfortable switching between deep technical debugging in the morning and a high-level product positioning conversation in the afternoon without losing your thread
  • You do not wait for perfect data to make a recommendation. You work with what you have, document your assumptions, and move forward
  • You treat customer feedback as signal, not noise. When a customer says something does not work the way they expected, you dig in to understand why, even if it means challenging internal assumptions
  • You are organized enough to manage multiple customer engagements at once, keeping track of commitments, follow-ups, and deliverables without dropping threads

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You will be part of the Customer Success Group, specifically supporting the applications engineering team focused on delivering technical solutions and driving customer success across Synopsys' ANSYS product portfolio. You will work closely with customers in Israel and collaborate with R&D, product marketing, and sales teams globally to ensure customers achieve their design goals and successful tapeouts.

Rewards and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs. Our total rewards include both monetary and non-monetary offerings. Your recruiter will provide more details about the salary range and benefits during the hiring process.

At Synopsys, we want talented people of every background to feel valued and supported to do their best work. Synopsys considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, military veteran status, or disability.
