ServiceTitan is looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to help us build the combination of front end web application, middle tier and services. You will be driving the architecture and AI integration for ServiceTitan’s CRM platform—blending system design, machine intelligence, and user-facing automation to redefine how the trades sell, engage, and grow. We need a highly technical, forward-looking, leader who will own the technical vision of a squad and be accountable for the successful execution of that vision. We also desire those who can balance rapid iteration and development with high product quality expectations and who are innovative and comfortable with ambiguity.
What you'll do:
  • Architect and own large, distributed systems that power ServiceTitan’s next-generation CRM.
  • Define and evolve the long-term technical vision across multiple squads—spanning core CRM, leads, and contact management domains.
  • Design scalable frameworks, APIs, and data models that enable agentic automation, LLM-driven insights, and recommendation services.
  • Lead integration of AI components such as Agentic Frameworks, LLMs, MCP, Recommendation Engines, and Sidebar Agentic Bots into production workflows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, AI/ML, and Data teams to translate complex user needs into reliable, intelligent solutions.
  • Mentor engineers through architectural design, code reviews, and deep technical coaching.
  • Establish best practices in observability, reliability, and developer productivity across squads.
  • Communicate technical direction clearly through design docs, reviews, and leadership syncs.
What you'll bring:
  • 10+ years of experience building scalable SaaS or enterprise systems.
  • Expert in C# / .NET Core, ASP.NET, and SQL Server; strong grounding in distributed system design.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or integrating AI/LLM-based applications in production (LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with agentic architectures, reasoning models, and orchestration layers (e.g., MCP-style systems, RAG pipelines, or multi-agent frameworks).
  • Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML workflows and data pipelines.
  • Experience with React + TypeScript, Kafka, and Kubernetes in large-scale environments.
  • Proven ability to lead architecture across multiple squads and mentor Staff/Senior Engineers.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical and product stakeholders.
