Position Summary:
We are hiring a Staff Accountant with at least 1–2 years of accounting experience (audit experience preferred) to join our audit teams. You’ll work directly with team leaders and senior staff, gaining hands-on experience with audit procedures, financial statement preparation, and client interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with audits of public school districts, charter schools, and other education-related organizations
• Prepare reports and financial statements
• Collaborate with team members, managers, and partners on multiple audit engagements.
• Interact directly with clients at various organizational levels.
• Travel occasionally to client sites within California.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience (internship or audit experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
• Enjoy working remotely and also enjoys being part of a team.
• Live in California.
• Highly organized and eager to learn.
• Interested in working with clients in the public education sector.
• CPA eligibility or interest in pursuing CPA is a plus.
