Job Summary

As a Sr. Engineer at the Porch Group, you will be a key player in the Agile development process, contributing to the sizing and estimation of tasks, mentoring team members, and working closely with Product Management and the US Engineering team. What You Will Do As A Senior Software Engineer I 

• Active participant in SDLC in an Agile environment to successfully deliver software development projects and set timelines 

• Individual contributor, delivering a high level of code and working with the latest AI and Agentic technologies 

• Collaborate with product management, web engineers, and data engineers to estimate, plan, and deliver features to production 

• Maintain and document best practices, standards, and policies as it relates to software development 

• Run functionality testing (QA) and debug code 

What You Will Bring As A Senior Software Engineer I 

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience developing production software 

• Understands and can speak to all aspects of the software development life cycle 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience 

• Proven collaborator, with clear, open and honest communication 

• Demonstrable experience prompting and managing AI Agentic Agents to define and execute tasks 

• Extremely knowledgeable with following tools:  

○ C#, ASP.NET (.NET Framework and .NET Core/Standard, MVC) 

○ React 

○ TypeScript (JavaScript) 

○ Redis 

○ Microsoft SQL Server  

• Adjust to new situations and escalate issues quickly for resolution 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills 

• Eager to learn new things 

• Proven experience working with US based business teams 

• Excellent written and communication skills in English language 

• Working Hours: 8 Hours (Excluding breaks) 

4 Core US Hours Overlap (7:30pm- 11:30pm IST) 

4 flexible hours (IST) 

• Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member   

Pay Range*: 2,475,000 INR - 3,465,000 INR Annually 

*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.
