The Salesforce Administrator will manage and support the organization's Salesforce environment, including user maintenance, automation, and system configuration. They will also serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and drive platform enhancements.
SUMMARY
We are looking for an energetic Salesforce Administrator to
join an established Salesforce Application Administration team. In this role,
you will participate in a variety of activities including system
administration, user support, project management, business analysis, and the
development of evolving Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.
This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders
to understand business needs, define system requirements, and deliver solutions
that align with organizational objectives. The Salesforce Administrator serves
as a subject matter expert and internal consultant, providing both system
administration and strategic guidance to drive productivity and operational
success.
The Application Administration team is responsible for the
administration, user maintenance and support, and in-application development of
the organization's core business applications. This is a full-time position
operating Monday through Friday.
JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and support
a Salesforce environment with 400+ users across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Perform
administrative functions including user maintenance (profiles, roles, and
permission sets), reports and dashboards, custom objects and fields, page
layouts, record types, deployment of change sets, and other Salesforce
administration tasks.
Create and maintain
automation processes using Flows, approval processes, and validation rules.
Utilize business
analysis skills to uncover root causes, gather detailed requirements from
business users, and identify process improvement opportunities through
Salesforce.
Serve as the primary
escalation point for end-user Salesforce support and platform administration,
coordinating with Application Development, IT Operations, and Information
Systems Support teams as needed.
Participate in the
prioritization of enhancements and user acceptance testing for
Salesforce-related projects.
Collaborate with
business teams and leadership to define and support the Salesforce roadmap by:
Advocating for
platform best practices and scalability.
Promoting Salesforce
features and capabilities that align with evolving business needs.
Researching and
recommending new tools and applications within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Plan and prepare for
upgrades and seasonal Salesforce releases while collaborating with teammates
and business leaders on the platform roadmap.
Record activities
within the ticketing system, including documentation of support efforts, system
changes, and customizations.
Conduct end-user
training and create documentation for new features, enhancements, and updates.
Perform other related
duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Skills:
Salesforce
Administrator Certification.
Bachelor's
degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of
3 years of Salesforce administration experience, or an equivalent combination
of education and relevant experience.
Strong
troubleshooting, analytical, and debugging skills.
Solid
understanding of workflows and data relationships.
Excellent
communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical
and non-technical stakeholders and build collaborative relationships across all
levels of the organization.
Strong
organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
Flexibility
and adaptability in handling frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events.
Ability to
identify, analyze, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Self-motivated
and proactive approach to work, with the initiative to address issues
independently and leverage available resources when assistance is required.
Strong
technical aptitude and understanding of the relationship between technology
solutions and business processes.
Preferred
Skills:
Salesforce
Advanced Administrator (ADM-211), Platform App Builder, or other Salesforce
certifications.
Proven
experience with Salesforce technologies such as Flow and Lightning App Builder.
Experience
with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Revenue Intelligence, and HubSpot.
Experience
using Data Loader and SOQL.
Experience
managing users, sharing settings, and permissions through profiles, permission
sets, and public groups.
Working
knowledge of Apex and Visualforce pages.
Strong
Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of formulas for data cleansing and
management.
