The Senior HRIS and Process Specialist will lead the review, selection, implementation, and stabilization of a new HRIS platform. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing data migration, and ensuring system workflows align with organizational compliance and operational needs.

About Jerritt Canyon

The Jerritt Canyon deposit was discovered in 1972, and the first gold production from the property occurred in 1981. The Jerritt Canyon property contains 30,821 hectares of mining claims located in the mining-friendly state of Nevada. First Majestic acquired the Jerritt Canyon Gold Mine from Sprott Mining Inc. on April 30, 2021. In May 2023, operations were suspended to prioritize exploration and technical studies. Jerritt Canyon is now entering a new phase of evaluation and planning, requiring substantial technical support to advance the work necessary for a potential future restart of operations.

  • Review current HR processes and recommend streamlined workflows that improve consistency, accuracy, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Document standard operating procedures, process maps, system guides, and training resources to support long-term HRIS administration.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to align onboarding, employee data changes, benefits, payroll interfaces, reporting, employee records, and compliance processes with the new HRIS environment.
  • Maintain clear project documentation, status updates, testing records, issue logs, and completion evidence throughout the assignment.
  • The duties and responsibilities listed above represent the core functions of the role and are not intended to be all-inclusive.
