Carrot is seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic consultant, trusted advisor, and talent architect for senior leaders across our Sales and Marketing divisions.
This is a high-impact, strategic role designed for a seasoned HRBP who creates the most value through judgment, deep business influence, and executive coaching. You will deeply embed yourself into the commercial business to align people strategies with business objectives, optimize organizational effectiveness, and navigate complex change.
As a Sr. HRBP you will bring specialized insight into sales compensation architecture and incentive plan alignment to help drive performance and commercial success.

In this role, you will focus on:
Trusted Thought Partner: Build deep credibility and trust with senior Sales and Marketing leaders, proactively offering perspectives on people strategies rather than just responding to transactional requests.
Business & Org Acumen: Develop an in-depth understanding of the commercial business strategy, operating models, go-to-market pipelines, and success metrics. Connect all talent decisions directly to commercial outcomes like revenue growth, market risk mitigation, and sales productivity.
Data-Driven Recommendations: Leverage people analytics, turnover trends, and compensation structure implications and present data-backed talent recommendations to leadership.
Sales Compensation Alignment: Partner closely with Commercial Leadership, Total Rewards, RevOps, and Finance to evaluate, advise on, and help optimize sales incentive compensation plans and structures to ensure they drive the right behaviors and retain top sales talent.
Executive Coaching: Coach commercial leaders on leadership capability, performance management, driving accountability, and delivering high-impact feedback.
Org Design & Workforce Planning: Diagnose team and organizational effectiveness issues. Lead organizational design, role clarity initiatives, and proactive workforce planning to scale the commercial teams efficiently.
Change Architecture: Guide commercial teams through high-stakes transitions, complex territory realignments, and shifting market strategies. Anticipate people's risks and resistance, helping leaders communicate change with extreme clarity and empathy.
Advanced Problem Solving: Navigate highly ambiguous, unique, or high-stakes personnel and business situations with calm, decisive, and solutions-oriented judgment.
You are a driven HRBP who thrives as a strategic talent architect, executive coach, and business influencer. You bring exceptional executive presence, sharp business judgment, and the confidence to constructively challenge senior leaders while maintaining deep, high-trust partnerships. You excel at translating complex commercial goals into high-impact people strategies and navigating teams smoothly through fast-paced organizational growth.
You likely have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive human resources experience, with a proven track record as an HRBP supporting fast-paced, high-growth commercial (Sales & Marketing) organizations.
Sales Compensation Acumen: Direct experience partnering on or contributing to sales compensation plans, commission structures, and quota-alignment strategies is highly preferred.
Advanced Influence & Communication: Demonstrated ability to network with key contacts outside your own area of expertise, adapt your style to diverse audiences, and constructively challenge senior executives with confidence.
Sophisticated Problem Solving: Experience managing complex issues where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and a tailored, creative approach to resolution.
This role sits at the center of Carrot’s long-term commercial growth strategy. As the Senior HRBP for our Sales and Marketing divisions, you will directly influence the performance and health of the teams responsible for expanding access to fertility and family-forming care globally.
By optimizing organizational design, alignment, and sales compensation architecture, you will ensure our commercial engine is set up to scale efficiently. Your leadership, executive coaching, and strategic change management will empower our go-to-market teams to drive meaningful business outcomes, mitigate market risks, and directly accelerate Carrot’s life-changing global mission.

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support employees in all aspects of life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and more.The starting base salary for this position will range from $125,000- $145,000*. Actual compensation may vary depending on confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location (a compensation premium may apply for candidates located within 50 miles of San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle).
