Job Description

INNERGY is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational reliability across a growing portfolio of products and services.

You will be a senior individual contributor responsible for building, maintaining, and improving scalable, secure, and resilient systems while advancing automation, reliability, and developer velocity. Working closely with systems architects and partnering with Engineering, Product, Security, and IT teams across the globe, you’ll help modernize infrastructure, strengthen observability, and ensure our systems can scale with INNERGY’s continued growth.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys solving challenging infrastructure and scalability problems, and takes ownership of the systems and tools engineering teams depend on.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture

  • Design, provision, maintain, and improve INNERGY’s Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code across environments
  • Identify opportunities to improve cloud cost, performance, scalability, and fault tolerance
  • Partner with architects and engineering teams on infrastructure design and technical requirements

CI/CD & Developer Platform

  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable software delivery
  • Help standardize deployment patterns across INNERGY’s product suite
  • Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Reduce manual effort and operational toil through automation and self-service tooling
  • Partner with development teams to improve deployment reliability and developer experience

Reliability & Observability

  • Support and improve SLO and SLA practices for production systems
  • Implement and maintain observability across metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities to meet established recovery objectives
  • Participate in incident response, including maintaining runbooks, conducting postmortems, and improving operational processes
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to support follow-the-sun coverage and system reliability

Security & Compliance

  • Implement infrastructure security best practices and automated security controls
  • Support audit and compliance requirements
  • Partner with IT and Security teams on vulnerability management, access controls, and infrastructure security
  • Identify and remediate infrastructure risks and reliability concerns

Technical Collaboration & Leadership

  • Promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams
  • Mentor and support engineers on infrastructure, automation, and platform topics
  • Contribute technical expertise to architecture reviews and infrastructure planning
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that improve reliability, automation, and developer productivity
  • Collaborate with DevOps and IT counterparts across INNERGY’s global regions to maintain consistent practices and operational continuity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of software engineering or infrastructure experience, including 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or similar roles
  • Strong experience managing cloud infrastructure in production SaaS environments
  • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes in production environments
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
  • Strong experience with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code technologies
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages
  • Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, system architecture, scalability, and high-availability design
  • Software engineering background sufficient to understand, review, and contribute to development efforts
  • Ability to apply AI-first approaches to tooling, automation, and problem-solving
  • Experience supporting production reliability, including SLOs, incident management, root-cause analysis, and postmortems
  • Ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate effectively across engineering teams
  • Proficiency with GitHub for source control, collaboration, and CI/CD workflows
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, or complex production environments
  • Deep experience running production workloads in Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with .NET application environments
  • Experience in manufacturing, ERP, or industrial software environments
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 or similar security and compliance frameworks
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or PE-backed environments
  • Experience collaborating across distributed, global teams and time zones
  • Proficiency with Jira
