Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • The Senior Paralegal provides advanced, high‑level support to attorneys across all phases of litigation. This role is responsible assisting the assigned attorney in managing case files, coordinating discovery, preparing legal documents, conducting research, and ensuring timely, accurate execution of litigation workflows. Additionally, the Senior Litigation Paralegal serves as a subject‑matter resource for litigation processes, mentors junior paralegals, and collaborates closely with attorneys, clients, and external stakeholders to support efficient case strategy and trial readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support for Administrative Agency Actions
    • With assigned attorney manage all aspects of EEOC, FEPA and other similar filings
    • Investigate charges internally
    • Prepare EEOC / FEPA / Similar agency filings
  • Litigation Support--- assist in:
    • The manage all aspects of litigation files from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motions, hearings, and trial preparation including calendar management
    • Work and interact with vendors, including outside counsel and other litigation support vendors and suppliers
    • Use department technology to maintain records, developdata reporting capabilities, track trends
  • Research & Analysis & Other Support
    • Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and other litigation databases.
    • Summarize case law, statutes, regulations, and factual findings for attorney review.
    • Assist in preparing case assessments, timelines, and strategy materials.
    • Be a subject matter expert supporting attorney and providing advice and guidance to internal clients.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Mentor junior paralegals and provide guidance on litigation procedures and best practices.
    • Work collaboratively with attorneys, legal operations, and cross‑functional teams to support case strategy and departmental goals.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in handling sensitive information.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 15 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably supporting complex, multi‑party, or high‑volume litigation.
    • Demonstrated experience with management of EEOC / FEPA / Similar Agencies; discovery management, trial preparation, and drafting litigation documents.
    • Experience conducting sensitive, complex investigations involving multiple parties, witnesses and documents
    • Prior experience working in a corporate legal department or large law firm.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of all employment and labor laws
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work extended hours during trial periods or urgent deadlines.
    • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency with legal software and tools (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, TrialDirector).
    • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER).
    • Experience with e‑discovery workflows and document review platforms
  • Other Requirements:
    • U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA‑approved program.

  • The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
    • Hourly range $38.50-62.50 USD
  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
