What We Do
Working with business departments, drive process improvement and support complex mortgage servicing Year End and regulatory reporting activities through business analysis, process design, data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution. Defines and documents business requirements, processes, procedures, controls, and reporting needs. Serves as a liaison/strategic partner between business operations, technology, compliance, vendors, and other stakeholders to identify risks, evaluate solutions, and support accurate and compliant regulatory reporting. Seasoned Analyst managing a wide range of complex and diverse projects with expertise in mortgage servicing operations, Year End reporting, regulatory reporting, and business analysis. Develops innovative and creative solutions, drives change, and exercises independent judgment in an evolving operational and technology environment.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
- Conducts business process evaluations to identify requirements, process gaps, reporting risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support mortgage servicing Year End and regulatory reporting, including IRS Forms 1098 and 1099, statement reporting, corrections, reconciliations, and related compliance activities.
- Support the company’s design and buildout of IRIS compliant Year End reporting processing.
- Perform complex analysis and cross-platform reconciliation to validate reporting accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
- Investigate reporting discrepancies and exceptions, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Define business requirements and participate in solution design, testing, implementation, and production validation.
- Evaluate system functionality and reporting processes against regulatory requirements and servicing practices.
- Develop and maintain business processes, procedures, controls, reconciliation methodologies, and audit-ready documentation.
- Partner with Technology, Compliance, Operations, Internal Aduit, vendors, and leadership to resolve complex reporting issues.
- Considers the business implications of workflow and processes to the current and evolving business environment.
- Create reports; research, analyze, and integrate data to identify trends, and risks. Escalate to management as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
- Typically requires BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically requires 4-8 years of directly related experience
- Mortgage servicing experience with direct exposure to Year End, IRS information reporting, or comparable regulated reporting processes strongly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of mortgage servicing operations and regulatory reporting
- Ability to analyze large and complex datasets and identify reporting discrepancies.
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements development, process mapping, testing, and implementation support.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and analytical modeling
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex business, technical, regulatory concepts
- Ability to work independently, manage completing priorities, and exercise sound judgment under regulatory deadlines.
Pay Range: $77,250.00 - $102,975.00 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
