About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Art Director with strong creative brand and tech product experience to be a digital-first design leader, embedded closely with one of our primary creative vendors. This isn't a social first or concept heavy role. It's about design excellence, motion fluency, brand stewardship, and confident decision making in a fast moving, product led environment.

You've got 6 to 10 years of experience shaping digital design for known brands or tech companies. You bring a strong, taste led point of view to design decisions, and you can guide internal partners and external vendors with clarity. Your portfolio shows this level of ownership and execution, and it's got a design sensibility that's cool, considered, and culturally fluent. Think editorial typographic confidence, intentional use of color, and work that communicates a clear creative voice without over designing. Content that feels premium, current, and made for the feed.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead & Elevate Digital Brand Design

You'll own digital design execution for product launches, feature releases, and everyday product moments across web and digital platforms. You'll establish and maintain a cohesive visual system across static and motion assets and manage layouts, toolkits, templates, and scalable visual systems that support high-volume output. You'll apply seasonal style guides and translate them into polished, on-brand assets, balancing hands-on design work with day-to-day decision-making.

Motion & Digital Fluency

You'll bring static systems to life through thoughtful motion, UI animation, and video assets. You'll provide motion design direction and feedback to vendors and partners, and design responsive, high fidelity digital experiences like landing pages, microsites, and interactive modules. You'll work closely with motion designers and guide After Effects workflows when needed.

Vendor & Agency Partnership

You'll operate as a true extension of the creative vendor team, partnering day to day. You'll give clear, confident design direction rooted in brand and product strategy, and help stabilize creative quality with a consistent point of view and fast, actionable feedback. You'll also support onboarding agencies into the product's tools, workflows, and fast, iterative way of working. You will fully understand the brand and ensure that vendors are meeting the brand identity needs within the work they do. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You'll partner closely with Product Marketing Managers, Product, Copywriters, and Creative Ops, acting as the senior creative counterpart who can translate complex or technical briefs into clear design direction. You'll work alongside the Creative Lead to maintain and evolve the design system in Figma, and bring a producer mindset to collaboration: prioritizing, clarifying, and driving work to completion.

Qualifications

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in design roles within creative brands, tech companies, or top tier creative agencies
  • Proven experience making design decisions for established brands or product ecosystems
  • A portfolio that shows digital product work and design systems thinking, with a clear, bold, intentional, distinctive aesthetic voice.
  • Experience partnering with or elevating work produced by external vendors or agencies
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, prototyping, styles, libraries, and shared workspace collaboration
  • Strong web design experience across desktop and mobile, and an understanding of how designs translate to build
  • Exceptional typography, layout, composition, and color theory skills
  • Experience designing for multiple channels and adapting work to platform specs
  • Experience with motion design or the ability to direct motion workflows fluently
  • Comfortable operating in high-speed, high-volume environments with frequent iteration
  • Able to give fast, high-quality feedback without over-polishing
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and decisive
  • Manages multiple priorities with clarity and confidence
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply existing brand foundations
  • Experience working within established systems rather than reinventing brands
  • Focused on scalable, business-as-usual creative rather than big campaign concepts
  • Understands how design supports product storytelling and business goals
  • Experience supporting high profile product launches or always on product marketing for a tech client
  • Familiarity with motion vocabulary for UI, product demos, and launch storytelling
  • Experience working closely with product teams in a tech environment
  • Illustration skills, custom iconography, or strong collage and asset building chops
  • Experience working within large brand ecosystems (guidelines, approvals, multiple stakeholders)
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled creative tooling
