Job Summary

The Sr. Analytics Program Manager is responsible for managing the intake, prioritization, requirements gathering, governance, and delivery coordination processes supporting Accuity's Reporting & Analytics organization. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and analytics delivery teams, ensuring reporting, analytics, and decision support initiatives are properly defined, prioritized, documented, and executed.

 

The Sr. Analytics Program Manager focuses on defining the "what," "why," and "when" behind reporting and analytics initiatives while partnering closely with Client Analytics, Decision Support, Operations, Clinical Operations, Product, Technology, Client Success, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams. By creating structure, transparency, and accountability around analytics requests and priorities, this role enables analytics resources to focus on delivering high-quality insights and business value.

 

This role plays a critical part in establishing analytics governance, improving stakeholder experience, strengthening reporting standards, supporting data governance efforts, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the Reporting & Analytics function.

 

Responsibilities

Analytics Intake and Demand Management

  • Serve as the primary intake and coordination point for reporting, analytics, dashboard, and decision support requests across the organization.
  • Establish and maintain intake processes that improve visibility, prioritization, and management of analytics work.
  • Evaluate incoming requests to ensure sufficient business context, requirements, and justification are provided before work begins.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify objectives, business needs, expected outcomes, and success measures.
  • Maintain visibility into analytics demand, capacity, priorities, and resource allocation.

 

Requirements Gathering and Business Analysis

  • Lead requirements gathering activities for reporting, analytics, and decision support initiatives.
  • Translate business objectives into clearly documented functional requirements, business rules, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions to align expectations, resolve ambiguities, and define desired outcomes.
  • Document and maintain requirements, process flows, use cases, dependencies, and supporting materials.
  • Ensure requirements are complete, actionable, and aligned with organizational priorities before work is assigned.

 

Analytics Governance and Prioritization

  • Support governance processes that establish clear prioritization, ownership, accountability, and transparency across analytics initiatives.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions and elevate competing demands, resource constraints, and business tradeoffs.
  • Maintain visibility into analytics project portfolios, work queues, and initiative status.
  • Partner with leadership to align analytics resources with strategic priorities and business objectives.
  • Promote consistent governance practices across reporting and analytics functions.

 

Delivery Coordination and Program Management

  • Partner with Product, Technology, Reporting & Analytics, and business leadership to align reporting and analytics initiatives with enterprise product strategy, platform capabilities, and business priorities.
  • Coordinate reporting and analytics initiatives from intake through delivery and implementation.
  • Monitor timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder commitments.
  • Define and track success measures for major analytics deliverables, including stakeholder adoption, usage, decision impact, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication among business stakeholders, analytics teams, Product, Technology, and operational leaders.
  • Interface directly with engineering and technology scrum teams to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery
  • Proactively identify risks and obstacles that may impact successful delivery and drive timely resolution.
  • Ensure stakeholders remain informed regarding progress, timelines, dependencies, and changes.

 

Data Governance and Reporting Standards

  • Support development and maintenance of reporting standards, data definitions, metrics governance, and analytics documentation.
  • Partner with Reporting & Analytics, Technology, Product, and Operations leadership to establish and maintain a centralized metrics dictionary. Work directly with engineering and technology teams to ensure alignment of metric definitions to underlying data architecture.
  • Promote consistency in reporting definitions, business rules, and analytics practices across the organization.
  • Assist in documenting data requirements, source dependencies, and reporting assumptions.
  • Contribute to data governance initiatives that improve reporting quality, consistency, and stakeholder trust.

 

Stakeholder Partnership and Communications

  • Build strong relationships with operational, clinical, financial, product, technology, and executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners seeking analytics and reporting support.
  • Facilitate productive discussions regarding reporting needs, priorities, tradeoffs, and expectations.
  • Improve stakeholder understanding of analytics capabilities, processes, and delivery timelines.
  • Promote collaboration and alignment between business functions and analytics teams.

 

Process Improvement and Organizational Effectiveness

  • Identify opportunities to improve analytics intake, governance, requirements management, communication, and delivery processes.
  • Develop repeatable tools, templates, workflows, and documentation standards that improve operational efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and scalability of the Reporting & Analytics organization.
  • Contribute to organizational maturity in analytics governance, business analysis, and stakeholder management.
  • Recommend process enhancements that improve stakeholder experience and analytics delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

Education and Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Analytics, Finance, Operations, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Analytics, Information Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • One or more of the following certifications preferred: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP, Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certification, Scrum Certification, and/or other relevant business analysis, project management, or analytics certifications.

 

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in analytics program management, business analysis, reporting governance, project management, or related disciplines.
  • Healthcare industry experience required, with analytics, reporting, business intelligence, decision support, or data-driven business experience.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business needs into actionable reporting, analytics, technology, or operational requirements.
  • Experience managing intake, prioritization, governance, or project portfolio processes.
  • Strong ability to facilitate alignment across business, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success managing competing priorities and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
