The IT Specialist (IT Desktop Support) will provide basic technical support for work-at-home (W@H) and on-site agents, as well as support staff across multiple lines of business. The IT Specialist will work closely with the Everise Information Technology team to deliver various levels of IT support. This role also involves collaborating with and supporting the Everise Corporate Technology team and their customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for W@H and on-site agents and support staff
• Administer Windows-based applications using basic IT principles and concepts
• Manage and support Exchange (including Office 365 applications), remote access technologies, and Microsoft Active Directory (user account creation, permissions, file and print shares)
• Perform desktop management, including system patching and imaging
• Support Microsoft networking environments (DNS, WINS, DHCP)
• Assist with Cisco-based routing and switching
• Provide 24x7 on-call production support as required
• Handle IT equipment logistics for W@H and on-site employees

Qualifications:

• English proficiency (B2 level or at least 65% in speaking and writing)
• Associate degree in a computer-related field (e.g., Computer Science) preferred, or equivalent experience
• 1–2 years of IT experience, preferably in desktop support and end-user management

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel
• Basic programming knowledge or technical training is a plus

• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including holidays and weekends
