Job Title: Southwest PA Coordinator

Note: We are ideally looking to fill this position with a candidate living in or near Washington County, as they will regularly be working out in the community. The Food Bank is located in Duquesne, but this positions primary work location would be remote.
Job summary: The Southwest PA Specialist is a local resident of Washington County who has a passion for improving food security. The Specialist will work directly with our partners in Washington County and will support to our Collective Impact Initiatives and Food Recovery teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Steward partners through the transition of SFPP and TEFAP contracts
- Respond to questions professionally and in a timely manner
- Assist partners with technology tools and programmatic questions
- Communicating all policies, procedures and standards effectively
- Conduct frequent site visits with partners, including one annual monitoring visit
- Monitor, track and address compliance requirements
- Field, investigate and resolve complaints
- Enforce corrective actions for identified compliance issues
- Monitor partner reporting and ensure data is accurate
- Maintain accurate, complete and updated partner records
- Ensure partner compliance with the Food Bank’s training requirements
- Encourage utilization of the Food Bank’s impact grant program
- Identify, encourage and implement neighbor-centered practices
- Identify gaps in service and participate in the evaluation and onboarding of new partners
- Supporting the scheduling and facilitation of working group meetings
- Coordinating and facilitating subcommittee meetings
- Support other Food Bank programs teams as needed, including:
- Providing onsite and/or planning support for distributions
- Conducting SNAP outreach
- Supporting child nutrition programs and outreach
- Providing SNAP application assistance
