What will you do?
You'll be the one helping newly engaged couples find their perfect resort, wedding package, and venue, that fits their budget and style for their South Asian Wedding. (the resort will handle the planning).
You’ll be there right from the beginning, providing a service that ensures they have the wedding of their dreams!
Both you and the team will work together to ensure couples and their guests have the best destination wedding experience!
Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of South Asian wedding traditions, customs, and cultural practices including but not limited to the various ceremonies (such as Mehendi, Sangeet, Baraat, and Pheras), traditional attire, cultural decor, specific dietary requirements, and regional variations in wedding practices among different South Asian communities (e.g., Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan). The consultant should be familiar with the significance of rituals, the importance of family involvement, and the need for culturally appropriate entertainment and music.
Here’s what your day-to-day would look like:
- You’ll be the first point of contact, suggesting wedding resorts in a consultative, caring, and curated approach.
- Answer client questions about itineraries, rates, and reservations in a polite, professional, timely, and friendly manner.
- Retain clients through follow-up emails, impeccable attention to detail, and providing unmatched customer service.
- Take charge, resolve conflict, and satisfy your customers.
- Use our CRM to manage your leads.
- Perform necessary administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Hindi and/or Bengali.
- Experience in consultative selling.
- Have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Are tech-savvy and can learn online systems for booking/reservations/managing customers/emails.
- Are detail-oriented and have a knack for staying organized.
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 1-2 years in a Sales role.
