Software Engineer (Pool)

As we continue to scale, we are building a pool of talented Software Engineers to be considered for future opportunities with ioet and our international clients. As we receive new client requests regularly, we want to stay one step ahead by connecting with experienced professionals who align with our clients’ technical needs, vision, and culture.

Selected candidates may complete an initial interview with our team, and if there is a strong fit, we will keep their profile in our talent pool. Once a matching client need arises, we may reach out to validate role-specific requirements and continue with the next steps in the process.

While specific responsibilities will vary depending on the unique needs of each client and project, you will generally be expected to manage end-to-end development, from designing reliable software architecture to building scalable services. We value engineers who take ownership of the development lifecycle, proactively resolve blockers, and maintain high standards of code quality and performance in fast-paced environments.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of professional experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar capacity.

• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (such as Python, Node.js, Go, Java, or React/Next.js).

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.

• Interest or practical experience in leveraging LLMs and AI tools to optimize development workflows.

• Ability to adapt to different tech stacks and project requirements.

• Strong ownership mindset and proactive communication skills.

• English communication skills – Minimum B2 level proficiency.

• Based in Latin America.

Nice to have:

• Experience with infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience integrating or building AI-powered product features.

• Familiarity with both frontend and backend development paradigms, mobile development, or developer automation tools.
