JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Complete simple bug fixes. Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve technical issues as necessary. Keep abreast of new technology developments. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
• 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.

• Also required is: 2 years of experience: enhancing the application frontend to ensure a seamless user experience using JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, and HTML; with database queries and indexing to support a highly optimized database query, which is crucial for enhancing application performance; developing RESTful APIs to enhance customer experience with applications using Perl; improving application performance by upgrading backend technologies with modern frameworks like NodeJS and Python; and streamlining XML parsing using XSLT.
• Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
• Experience can be concurrent.

SALARY RANGE FOR REQ# R115207:

• $110,000 to $119,400/year + standard company benefits
• This salary range is specifically for REQ# R115207. Salary range listed below is general and covers all similar positions in the area and should not be considered for this specific position.
