Software Engineer

All candidates must be authorized to work in Luxembourg and be eligible to be affiliated with Luxembourg income tax and social security (residence in Luxembourg or close to the border in France, Belgium, or Germany), we are unable to accept contract work (no B2B or freelance contracts) at this time. We will consider applicants who live in Luxembourg but do not have a work visa yet on a case by case basis. Criminal background checks will be conducted after an employment offer. 

About the role

We are looking for a mid-level or senior engineer to work on our integrations team full time. This role requires a strong background and extensive, in-depth experience working with integrating Techcyte software with external clients and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of integration packages in support of our products and customers
• Debug and resolve issues in those services
• Participate in scale testing, optimization, and other efforts to improve system performance, reliability, and user and developer satisfaction
• Assist in automating processes, workflows, and tests
  
  

What makes you the ideal candidate

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent program
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering

• 2+ years of experience interfacing with Techcyte services via REST, HL7, and Websockets
• Excellent coding skills with ReactJS, Golang, Python, or something similar
• Current with modern dev tools and methodologies such as agile development, AI-assisted development, git, bug trackers, team chats, and remote work
• Ability to debug and optimize complex systems to improve speed or other costs
• Experience with testing methodologies
  
  

These skills are desired for some positions but are not required:

• Ability to interface with SQL databases
• Willingness to work with docker (previous experience is a plus)
• Experience with linear algebra and/or numpy

Work from Home
