The team evaluates products and technologies within the Edge Technology Platform & Products Engineering group. Automation infrastructure is developed for testing, enabling collaboration with other engineering teams to validate features. Experience spans all delivery products, emphasizing system integration testing to replicate real-world scenarios effectively.

Ensure world-class class Delivery performance

Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across various platforms and applications. Collaborate with development teams to identify test requirements, create test plans, and execute automated test scripts. Continuously enhance testing processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness in delivering high-quality software solutions.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:

• Contributing to system test plans to guarantee exceptionally effective test coverage and automation.
• Creating and deploying automated system tests to replicate real world scenarios
• Improving testing methodologies and procedures to enhance test automation.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Have Python programming skills with hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Pytest and Unittest.
• Have experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CloudBees, Git, and automation/scripting practices.
• Be proficient in Linux environments and SQL for troubleshooting, validation, and test automation activities.
• Have understanding of networking and internet technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and DHCP.
• Have analytical, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills, solving complex large-scale distributed systems challenges and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
