Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.26481)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

 

Position requires:

• Object oriented programming languages including Java and Python;
• Linux systems including shell scripting, filesystem concepts and permissions, process management, and package management including DNF and RPM;
• Build and release tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery including Git and Maven;
• Developing and operating cloud services in public cloud environments including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
• Test automation tools and frameworks including JUnit and Playwright, as well as integrating automated tests into CI pipelines and maintaining test reporting;
• Computer science including applying data structures and algorithms to performance and scalability problems;
• Systems programming concepts including service architecture, storage fundamentals, and caching and memory management; and
• Software development including designing, implementing, debugging, and code reviewing production services and libraries.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 to $166,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
