Role Overview
As a Software Craftsperson I, you will have 2+ years or experience and will work on well-defined tasks as part of a team, building strong software engineering fundamentals and gradually increasing your independence.
You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, ask questions, seek feedback, and learn the team’s ways of working. You’ll contribute to building reliable, maintainable software while developing your skills in coding, testing, debugging, tooling, and documentation.

- Deliver well-defined tasks on time, with increasing independence and support from experienced engineers when needed.
- Write clear, reliable, and maintainable code by following established team patterns and practices.
- Build strong fundamentals in testing, debugging, tooling, and documentation.
- Actively seek feedback, learn from code reviews and peers, and apply feedback to improve your work.
- Ask questions, understand the “why” behind tasks, and connect your work to customer value.
- Communicate clearly about progress, blockers, and challenges; raise problems along with possible solutions.
- Contribute positively to team ceremonies, collaboration, and continuous small improvements.
- Use AI thoughtfully to support learning, coding, testing, debugging, and faster feedback.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Expertise in Ruby on Rails, Test Driven Development, React, React.js or JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Strong skills in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering methodologies
- Ability to design and develop web architecture and optimize existing infrastructure
- Experience working in Agile and eXtreme Programming methodologies within a continuous deployment environment
- Interest in mastering technologies like web server ecosystems, relational DBMS, TDD, CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of server configuration and deployment infrastructure
- Experience using source control, bug tracking systems, writing user stories, and technical documentation
