About the Opportunity

Social Medial Marketing Manager

Are you someone who understands how business-to-business (B2B) social media is evolving into a meaningful growth lever — across influence, trust, category creation, and pipeline?

Salsify is seeking a social media marketing specialist with experience in B2B strategy to lead the development, launch, and management of our social media strategy to drive brand awareness, community building, and lead generation on LinkedIn and other relevant social channels. As a team that prioritizes innovation and creativity, we’re excited to experiment with new ways of engaging on social media with our B2B audience — and are seeking someone who wants to test and learn with us.

We’re eager to amplify executive thought leadership, shape conversations around exciting new industry topics like agentic commerce, and build an engaged community within our space. This role will report to the director of growth marketing and work closely with content marketing, design, and video teams, as well as cross-functionally with other marketing departments to support marketing campaigns.

This role offers the opportunity to shape and grow a modern B2B social media program, influence how an industry leader shows up in public conversations, and collaborate with executives, customers, and partners to tell stories that drive awareness, engagement, and business impact.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop, launch, and manage a cutting-edge social media strategy for a B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) company to drive brand awareness, community building, and lead generation.
  • Oversee community management and growth on LinkedIn and other relevant social media channels by implementing audience development strategies and executing engagement initiatives to build an engaged, loyal audience.
  • Establish and curate a social media content calendar for LinkedIn and other relevant social media channels, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to support marketing campaign success.
  • Ideate, produce, and publish written content on social media, such as posts, polls, newsletters, and articles, as well as multimedia content like graphics and videos, continually experimenting with new formats to drive audience engagement and conversion.
  • Develop and drive an executive thought leadership program, collaborating with key leaders to help them manage their social media presence, to help them optimize their personal brands for greater reach and influence.
  • Implement a social search optimization (SSO) process to drive organic search rankings across LinkedIn and other relevant social media channels.
  • Establish a social listening program to monitor competitor and category conversations to bring forward timely insights that shape our social media strategy and help us lead category conversations.
  • Establish a performance measurement, reporting, and optimization processes to ensure our social media strategy stays ahead of the latest industry shifts, trends, and technologies.

 

Here’s what you’ll bring to our team:

  • Three or more years of experience working in social media marketing or a related roles where you owned social media strategy development and execution.
  • Experience developing B2B marketing strategies for LinkedIn or other relevant social media channels (e.g. X, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, Instagram, or other emerging platforms) to target, engage, and nurture professional audiences.
  • Experience overseeing community management and implementing audience development strategies.
  • Strong writing and editing skills to craft high-quality, conversion-driving copy, with experience following brand style guidelines.
  • Demonstrated success leveraging the latest industry trends to drive audience growth and engagement through creative and innovative social media strategies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to bring creative and innovative ideas to life.
  • Experience establishing a social listening program to monitor competitor and category conversations and deliver timely insights.
  • Experience with analytics tools and performance measurement to inform optimization efforts with data-driven insights.

 

You’ll get bonus points for bringing:

  • Experience developing multimedia content like graphics and videos for social media campaigns, leveraging tools like Canva or CapCut.
  • Experience building social media strategy for emerging platforms.
  • Experience implementing a SSO process.
  • Experience developing and driving an executive thought leadership program.
  • Experience with paid media or collaborating with paid media teams.

The posted compensation range reflects the base salary for this position. In addition to base salary, some eligible roles may also have a commission plan or a bonus incentive. All Salsify employees receive equity in the form of stock options. All full-time employees are invited to participate in our Total Rewards plan, which includes health & medical benefits, PTO, and more. Offers to join Salsify are based on a few criteria, including the scope of the role, the candidate’s work experience, targeted skills, internal equity of the team, and external market data.
